Alto The informal Alto is the dress down dining option here at the rather glamorous Radisson Edwardian Hotel in Manchester. Situated in probably the city’s most famous building - the Free Trade Hall, variously host to Ella Fitzgerald, Winston Churchill, Bob Dylan, the Sex Pistols, Oscar Wilde and Joy Division - the Radisson retains much historical atmosphere with artefacts saved during the renovation from hall to hotel displayed throughout. Alto itself is a modern addition to the building, a sophisticated setting for dining and drinking, low lit by oversized light fixtures, decorated in easy, neutral tones and comfortably furnished.
